BREAD OF STONE

Infused with an energy that finds its source in their passion for bringing others closer to Jesus, Bread of Stone is an up-and-coming Christian band based out of Sioux City, Iowa with a sound all their own. BRIAN BRUGGER

Brian Brugger grew up in Michigan where he began playing drums as a teen.  He played in church youth group and small bands throughout his school years.  Following college Brian found himself starting and leading worship bands for the churches he was attending.  After moving to Florida with his wife in 2003, Brian began playing with as many groups & artists as he could, ultimately landing the full time gig with Lost&Found and then City of David.  His drumming is influenced by the likes of Kent Brugger (brother), Robert Sweet, Carter Beauford, Larry Mullen Jr. & many others.  Through his career Brian developed his solid, dynamic & driving style while performing with such Nashville recording artists as “blu” and David Quiles.
Currently performing with Christian Rock Artist David Quiles & the City of David band, Brian is also committed to his home church (Hope Fellowship Community) were he serves as Technology and A/V director.  He can also be found most weekends performing with the HFCC worship band in West Palm Beach, FL.

CHALMER LUMARY

Chalmer Lumary has played music in several bands since the early 80's. The Vandals, Hated, but more recent Day One. His sound is influenced by artist such as Third Day, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, also having inspiration from artists such as Johnny Cash & Frank Sinatra. His original songs are pulled straight from the heart and go from an edgy Christian Rock sound to very crisp and soulful. CRYSTAL SHAWANDA

Native American born Crystal Shawanda wrote her first song at 9, not knowing that songwriting would become her way of coping with the hopelessness she saw around her on the reservation. As Crystal says, "I was born a country music singer," and who at 12 years of age had already written her first demo. Country music had become her full time way of relating to the world. "If I couldn’t write and sing, I couldn’t talk and feel."

Picked up my first pair of drum sticks at the age of 12 and have not put them down since. In the fall of 1999 I was accepted into Berklee College of Music. I immersed myself into the music; I graduated in May 2003 with a Bachelors in Performance: Drum Set Principle. JAYSON BRINKWORTH

Jayson Brinkworth is an accomplished drummer/percussionist/vocalist who grew up and still makes his home on the Canadian Prairies in Regina, Saskatchewan. He has enjoyed many exciting moments in his 23 year career of playing, writing, teaching and recording music. From countless live gigs and recordings, to educating through private lessons at Music In The House which he is co-owner, his interactive percussion program in the Regina Public School Board, as well as several clinics and workshops throughout Western Canada. His influences are as diverse as the music he performs and range from Jeff Porcaro, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Billy Ward, Rick Marotta, to Buddy Rich, Tony Williams, Elvin Jones to Eddie Bayers, Billy Thomas and Buddy Harman. Born in Los Angeles, California Jeff began playing drums in school band at age 11 and realized then drumming was his passion. Not long after the Las Vegas music scene offered Jeff the opportunity to play lounges and clubs at the tender age of 14. Upon graduating from high school, Jeff moved back to Los Angeles and attended the Percussion Institute of Technology while also continuing his musical studies through college. J. LaToiya

J. LaToiya, a native of Orlando. Florida., has been playing the drums for the past 17 years. Driven to be the best she's practiced relentlessly and absorbed herself with and around music. Joe Nichols was born in Rogers, Ark., on Nov. 26, 1976. At 19, Nichols secured a record deal on Intersound Records before the label folded. In 2002 Nichols' released the album Man With a Memory, the first project from the Universal South imprint, which featured the song "The Impossible" earning a total of three Grammy nominations and "Brokenheartsville" hit No. 1. Katsen Louis is a Boston-based drummer with the city’s First Haitian Baptist Church. She's a story-teller, and a really good one no matter what her age, because she is honest in her approach and describes things in such great detail. TEDDY CAMPBELL

Drummer extraordinaire Teddy Campbell can be seen by millions on the FOX smash hit show American Idol. He's a member of the live house band that plays a pivotal role in making Idol one of the most entertaining and most watched programs in TV history. Discovering his love of drumming by banging on his mom's pots and pans at age three, the phenom drummer grew up in the Gospel music scene of Chicago Ill., where he played in church for the first time at age four and hasn't looked back since. TERENCE ERVAN

Born and raised in California TT began annoying his parents by banging on pots and pans and showing his beginning interests in music at age 5. Heavily influenced by drum/bugle corps and rudimental percussion, TT began to apply a plethora of styles and rudiments learned to the drum set. Focusing now mainly on the set, TT began playing with many different bands and styles in the local and not so local areas including Funk, Hip-hop, Swing, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Fusion, Country, Rock, Stg. Prod., Drum & Bass, and Metal. TT also incorporates sampling and drum triggering into his shows. Playing with his current project the Siri Dyal Band allows Terence to incorporate all he has learned into one band.

THRIVING IVORY

The San Francisco quintet Thriving Ivory came together when Clayton Stroope (vocals) and Scott Jason (pianist and songwriter) met at college. They were soon joined by DrewCribley (guitar), Bret Cohune (bass),and Paul Niedermier (drums) and, inspired by U2 and Coldplay, began playing gigs for their fellow students, as well as recording their self-funded, self-titled independent debut with Jellyfish's Chris Manning, who acted as their producer. While building a fan base with their shows and album, the band also got a boost from local radio station KITS, which put their song "Angels on the Moon" in full rotation; listeners soon made it one of the station's most requested tracks. After signing with Wind-Up Records in 2007, Thriving Ivory worked with producer Howard Benson on a new version of their debut album (including new and re-recorded tracks). It was released in June 2008.

THE WOOD BROTHERS

With the 2008 release of Loaded, the Wood Brothers engage in a more expansive musical dialogue that commenced well before they hit the studio; they collaborated for the first time on writing material together. John Medeski, returning as producer, got into the mix as the songs were just taking shape, and he plays keyboards on several tracks. The crew, working at a studio near Woodstock, New York, opened up the sessions to other musicians and friends—singers Amos Lee, Pieta Brown and Frazey Ford, steel guitarist Darick Campbell, violinists David Mansfield and Jennifer Choi, cellist David Eggar, drummers Billy Martin and Kenny Wolleson, and percussionist Donnie McCormick—making this a more fleshed-out, multi-layered band effort compared to the spare, live-in-the-studio approach of Ways Not To Lose.
